July 25th is Annexation Day — the anniversary of Nicoya’s 1824 decision to join Costa Rica. We’re spending the evening celebrating the region’s flavors and musical traditions. Come learn how tortillas are made with a corn mill, get hands-on with the masa, and watch a fogón built from scratch for slow-cooked pollo achiotado.
July 24th, 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Juice Bar
$20 per person and free for children under 4.
