Welcome to Nosara’s Foster Network — a village of loving homes for rescue dogs awaiting adoption.

Because NAC doesn’t have an animal shelter here, we need more homes for our pups to live in while they wait to meet their forever families. We have more dogs than foster homes, and sometimes our full-time fosters need a break too.

So we’re building things differently here 🙂

We’re building a village. 🌴

We’re calling in our community of expats, seasonal residents, teachers, yogis, surfers, facilitators, healers, digital nomads, locals and families who are willing to open their homes for a month or a season.

Think of it as a pup’s Pura Vida slumber party between rescue + adoption. 🐶🌊

You provide:

NAC provides:
🐾 Food
🐾 Spay/neuter
🐾 Flea, tick + heartworm care
🐾 Necessary medical care

When a pup needs a home, we’ll share them in our WhatsApp group along with their personality and the dates they need fostering. If that pup and those dates fit your life, raise your hand.

You can also meet some of our rescue dogs each month at Puppy Yoga at Aleo Yoga Studio and on Tuesdays at our local farmers market.

With the support of our community, our goal is to be their loving home between rescue and adoption — until they find their forever family. ❤️
